As part of our ongoing work with David Lloyd Leisure, we’ve produced two online adverts that are now being aired as ‘Pre-Roll’ advertisements on YouTube. David Lloyd Leisure wanted this new campaign to reach both young male professionals and families. We adjusted the style, pace and messaging for the two ads to reflect these two very different audiences. After working through the initial brief, Team Somersault came up with two ads that perfectly reflect David Lloyd Leisure’s brand values. We took care of all the concepts, organisation and casting, and shot the footage over two days at the David Lloyd Club in Cambridge. We then turned round the full edit of both ads in just under a week. Our Marketing Manager, Richard Wellings, had this to say about the shoot: “These adverts add yet another layer to the work we are doing with David Lloyd Leisure. Their marketing team is always looking to use video in different ways and I think this YouTube ad campaign will reach a relevant audience and deliver real value for them.” The finished ads will be up on our work page soon, and in the meantime you can take a look at some behind the scenes footage from the shoot over on our blog.
