We’re excited to announce that we’ve been appointed by strategic property group, Urban&Civic, to document the creation of a brand new development situated in between Cambridge and Peterborough. The development, known as Alconbury Weald, is a former RAF base that will be transformed into a unique and inspiring place for working, living, learning and leisure. For the first stage of the project we have set up a time lapse camera that will record the building of the The Incubator, which will be a hub for entrepreneurs and small businesses. The time lapse footage will be used by Urban&Civic throughout the project to update the local community and other key stakeholders on progress and to support their national and international marketing. Rebecca Britton, Head of Communities Partnerships at Urban&Civic, had this to say about the project and working with Somersault:
“Video is a great way to capture transformation on the scale of Alconbury Weald and the Enterprise Campus. This initial project will cover the 9 month build of The Incubator, which very much sets the scene for the quality design, sustainable features and and natural landscaping that will run throughout the development. Somersault have been really helpful in initial guidance and concepts, delivering the technical know-how and in-project support to ensure we get the best out of the filming. We’re pleased to be working with as market leaders and a great local company.”
We are really excited to be helping Urban&Civic to document and communicate these first steps in creating Alconbury Weald!
